Monopoly Power

This is an exercise in economy. I am currently at an Internet café in Shrewsbury. It is the only one, ergo it has monopoly power. It can charge socially inefficient rates for Internet access, and reap above normal rates of return. Internet access here is £6(!!!) an hour.

This is an exercise in value. As an economist, I engage in marginal analysis. When the marginal costs of additional Internet access to blog (again, £6/hour) exceed the marginal benefits, I stop blogging.

Learning to justify the things you hate sucks so much.
