I know college students are supposed to procrastinate, but this is getting bad. I’ve been home from England for over a month now, and I still haven’t posted all my pictures online. Something has to be done about this.
So I’m finally doing it. I’m putting all my pictures on. OK, fine, minus the ones that might get me in trouble if I ever run for political office. But I have several hundred pictures, so it’s gonna have to come in installments. I’ll post a new installment each day until I have them all online. I’m trying to organize the installments in a somewhat logical fashion, so that they follow with the trips we took and the major events of the trip. I figure that’s a good way to keep you in suspense, and maybe spread out the workload on this end.
This first installment covers the first week and a half, including many trips around London to points of interest. A lot of it’s just the usual touristy stuff. Things will get more interesting later, I promise.
They aren’t all great pictures. Sorry about that. In fact, some of them are downright bad. I could probably not include some of the ones that weren’t very good. But then again, that would cut into the narrative. So just don’t come complaining to me if something is blurry, at a bad angle, or otherwise sucky.
Also, a word of caution. These are all my pictures, but many of them include other people, people I know well, children, etc. The contents of this site are under a Creative Commons license that allows commercial use, derivative works and other fun stuff. You’re still welcome to use these pictures under the terms of the license, but if you want to use a photo in which specific people are an integral part (i.e. portraits), I would appreciate it if you checked with me first by email, just so that I can ask for their permission to let you use the photos. Also, please email me if you’d like full resolution versions of the photos.
Oh, who am I kidding anyway? Who wants to use my photos of people picking their nose?
Right, so on with the pictures.

I’m writing a book about the science of beer, and would like to use ythe yard of ale photo you have on the web. Is this OK?
I shall acknowledge the source of any images that I use.
Cheers.
