I never knew I could be a compulsive shopper.

I do lots of things to deal with stress. I eat. I go for walks. I blog. But I had never known myself to be the type to go to the mall and shop. And I’m still not. But apparently when it comes to used CDs, I’m weak.

Somehow, on my walk back from the grocery store yesterday, I decided it would be a good idea to stop into the used record store down the street. Ten minutes later, I was 60 bucks poorer. I’ve never seen such compulsion from myself!

I have to admit, my new copy of Earl Hines Plays Duke Ellington sounds fantastic, along with most of the other stuff I got, but this has got to be a bad habit to get into.

Good thing comps is due soon. I can scarcely afford it.
