So tonight’s my first time DJing in Minneapolis. I’m DJing for the Second Sunday dance, which just started last month. However, if last month is any indication, it should draw a really good crowd. Hopefully a good place to get some respect as a DJ.
Being nervous about something like this can be a lot of fun. Obsessing over one’s playlist is, well, a lot better than working on comps. Normally I’m a little more seat-of-the-pants when it comes to DJing, but since it’s my first time in the Twin Cities, I decided it’s best not to risk it.
