I have an extremely annoying sound emanating from my closet right now. It’s a bat, hibernating in the chimney.
Luckily, after having one bat in my room this winter, I made a point to tape over all the holes in the closet. From what it sounds like, the bat is actively trying to get into the house where the tape is and cannot.

So far, so good. The bat isn’t in my room (yet), and the tape is holding. But man is this thing distracting. I called Security, and they said they’d have Maintenance come see if there’s a way to get it out.

In the meantime, I’ll have to make do with jumping out of my skin every five minutes. If I can catch it making noise, I’ll turn it into a podcast.
