Carleton alum Ari Guha has started The Hair Project. He’s cutting his hair for the first time in 22 months, in a style determined by the folks that give the most money to charity. After vastly exceeding his original $200 goal, he’s now set his sights on a lofty $5000.

I, sadly, have absolutely no money to donate (though I would have to vote for the so-called “Best Ever” option). However, I wish him all the best. He’s recently gotten some good exposure from USA Today’s Pop Candy blog, and I think if the trend continues, he’ll definitely be able to raise quite a bit of money from this.
