Remember back when I sent in that angry letter to the editor that didn’t get published regarding some comments made by Ithaca Democrat Nathan Shinagawa? Yeah, okay it was a while back.
Remember when I dug through my site statistics and found evidence of him Googling himself and finding my letter that never got published?
It turns out that guy is now a real politican. Like with a “paid for by friends” website and everything.
I still get hits from people searching for him, and my blog is top 10 on Google for his name, only a few spots below his own (rather boringly political) site.
If he makes it big, I want to go down as his first political critic. I won’t let history silence me!
Note to Nathan: I have nothing against you personally. Please indulge yourself in this cruel irony, as I have. Good luck on your campaign.

This time I am actually googling myself and just came across your site. It’s a great blog, I might just check it out regularly from now on. I’m honored by the attention, and of the many critics I’ve had since being elected, you’re one of the better ones (intellectually, politically).
